If you were to double the size of your Fareham business by 2025, what single thing would help you the most?
This is just one of the questions researchers from the University of Portsmouth will be asking 350 businesses in Fareham in a survey that launches today, 9th April. The survey is being commissioned by Fareham Borough Council and is aimed at all Fareham-based business owners and residents living in the Borough who are thinking about starting their own business.
Businesses in Fareham are being given this once in a decade opportunity to make their voice heard and influence Fareham Borough Council's future Economic Development Strategy through this online survey. The survey is one of a package of measures from Fareham Borough Council as it looks to support local businesses as they look to the future.
Once analysed, the findings of the survey will be used to inform the Council's Business strategy for the next ten years.
The surveys will be analysed by researchers from the University of Portsmouth Business School's Business Resilience and Growth group, who worked with local businesses last July on COVID-19 business needs.
Peter Hooley, Director of Business Development, Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Portsmouth said, "Building on our experience, we are delighted to be able to provide an opportunity for Fareham businesses and potential new businesses to have direct input into their local strategy and help the council form an evidence base to inform this."
