It is understood the 72-year-old was herding cows on the quad bike when he lost control and became trapped underneath the vehicle about 2:30pm.
WorkSafe investigators responded and will determine whether further action is required.
The death is the 14th confirmed workplace fatality and the fifth in agriculture in 2026. There were 27 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
