The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 31-year-old Coorparoo man died following a crash involving a bicycle and car at Mount Nebo this morning (April 24).
Initial investigations suggest that at around 10.15am the man was riding down Mount Nebo Road when he collided with a stationary vehicle.
Members of the public administered first aid to the man prior to emergency responders arriving, however he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 49-year-old North Brisbane woman, the driver of the vehicle, was not physically injured.
