Police are currently on scene of a collision that has claimed the life of a man in Maffra this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a green Subaru collided with a Hilux travelling east along Johnson Street near Foster Street just after 11.30am.
The driver of the Subaru, an 83-year-old Maffra man, died at the scene.
The female driver of the Hilux was not injured and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Wellington Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
