Fatal Collision Sparks Police Response in Mount Wallace

Police are investigating a multi vehicle collision in Mount Wallace yesterday that has turned fatal.

Emergency services were called to Geelong-Ballan Road just after 3pm following reports two cars and a truck had collided.

The driver of the first vehicle, a 92-year-old Aireys Inlet woman, was extracted and airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since died.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 64-year-old Aireys Inlet woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 55-year-old Lethbridge man, was not injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
