One person has died after a quad bike accident near Borroloola.
At around 7:00pm on Tuesday a 69-year-old man on a quad bike and a 20-year-old man on a motorbike were returning to Borroloola along the Wollogorang Highway, Northern Territory Police say
The 69-year rider lost control of the quad bike which flipped and rolled onto him, knocking him unconscious for several minutes.
He was taken to the local clinic however the man later died, despite the efforts of clinic staff and the police.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
