One person has died and another is in hospital, following a single-vehicle crash in Braemar, near Mittagong, this morning, NSW Police say.
Just before 2am tomorrow, emergency services were called to the Old Hume Highway, following reports a car had left the road and hit a tree.
The female driver died at the scene.
The male, and only, passenger was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command are at the scene and will commence an investigation into the incident.
