Fatal E-bike Crash, Greenbank

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after two teenagers died following a crash between an e-bike and a motorcycle at Greenbank this evening, 12 March.

Investigations indicate that at 9pm, a Harley Davidson motorcycle has overtaken a vehicle on Middle Road, when it has collided with an e-bike travelling in the opposite direction. It is believed the e-bike did not have headlights on at the time of the collision.

The teenaged boy and teenaged girl riding the e-bike were both declared deceased at the scene.

The male rider of the motorcycle was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant footage to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
