Police are at the scene of a fatal house fire in Sydney’s east, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Carrington Road at Waverley about 6.20am (Thursday 2 August 2018), where they found a home well alight.
A woman died at the scene. Her age is not yet known.
A man was located outside the home and was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital.
Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command have commenced inquiries.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
