A man has died following a motorcycle crash on the state's Mid Coast.
About 9.30pm today (Saturday 10 September 2022), emergency services were called to Wattley Hill Road at Wootton, about 50km southeast of Forster, after reports a motorcycle had left the roadway.
The motorcycle rider died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in either his 40s or 50s.
Officers attached to Manning-Great Lakes Police District established a crime scene and are making inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Investigations are continuing.
