Fatal motorbike crash, Ashgrove

A 27-year-old man has died following a fatal motorbike crash in Ashgrove this morning, December 23.

Initial information indicates shortly after midnight, a motorbike was travelling along Waterworks Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a pole.

The rider, a 27-year-old Ashgrove man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam from the area is urged to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
