Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Pittsworth, Police Responding

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two vehicle traffic crash at Stoneleigh today.

Preliminary inquires indicate at 11.55am a motorcycle was headed west on Lochaber Road, when it has collided with a car travelling in front of the motorbike in the same direction and started to turn right into Stoneleigh Road.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old Pittsworth man, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 68-year-old Pittsworth man, was not physically injured in the crash.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.
