Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Tiaro: Police Responding

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist died at Bauple.

The man left Gympie at 10.30pm on Wednesday to ride his motorbike to Bundaberg.

When he failed to arrive, his family notified police.

This afternoon a searching helicopter located the man and his motorbike down an embankment off the Bruce Highway at Bauple.

Ground crews attended the scene and the man was found to be deceased.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw the Black BMW motorcycle headed north on the Bruce Highway on Wednesday night or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact police.
