Fatal motorcycle crash near Cessnock, NSW

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a fatal motorcycle crash near Cessnock today, NSW Police say.

About 12pm today, emergency services were called to Sandy Creek Road, Quorrobolong, 15km south of Cessnock, following reports a man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle had failed to negotiate a corner and struck a tree.

NSW Ambulance Paramedics attended but the 30-year-old man died at the scene.

Officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command attended and conducted inquiries into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
