A motorcyclist has died following a crash near Coonamble, in the state’s central west, NSW Police say.
About 10.30am yesterday (Saturday 5 May 2018), a motorcyclist was travelling with a group of other riders when he crashed on Sandy Camp Road at Quambone, approximately 60km from Coonamble.
Emergency services attended the scene; however, the 62-year-old man died on the way to hospital.
Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District attended and commenced inquiries.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
