Fatal single-vehicle crash near Bourke

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the state's central north.

Just before 11am today (Saturday 16 March 2019), police have been told a Mazda utility was travelling west along Nidgery Byrock Road, Byrock, about 79km south east of Bourke, when it left the roadway and rolled.

Officers from Central North Police District attended and located a 24-year-old man who had been ejected from the vehicle and commenced CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived.

The man could not be revived and died at the scene.

Two male passengers – aged 20 and 40 – suffered minor injuries.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
