Fatal stabbing; man charged near Parkes, NSW

A man will appear in court today charged over the domestic-related murder of another man in the state’s central west yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 8pm (Tuesday 11 September 2018), officers from Central West Police District attended Croft Street, Trundle, where they arrested a 25-year-old man, after receiving information about a stabbing.

A short time later, police attended a home on Long Street, where they located a deceased 50-year-old man with stab wounds.

The younger man was taken to Parkes Police Station and charged with murder.

He has been refused bail to appear at Parkes Local Court today (Wednesday 12 September 2018).

The men are known to each other.
