Northern Territory Police attended the scene of a fatal crash overnight.
At around 11:40pm, police received reports that a woman had been struck by a vehicle on the Victoria Highway, 40km east of Timber Creek.
Emergency Services attended, however, the woman was declared deceased.
Traffic diversions are currently in place as Major Crash detectives investigate the incident.
