The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal single motorbike traffic crash at Burleigh Heads last night, 02 April.
Initial investigations indicate about 9.05pm a green Kawasaki Ninja motorbike was travelling along West Burleigh Road when it lost control and crashed.
The rider, a 23-year-old Currumbin man sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital however later passed away.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information, dashcam vision or saw the motorbike leading up to the crash to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
