Fatal Traffic Crash at Pacific Haven: Police Respond

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Pacific Haven (Fraser Coast) last night, 2 February.

Initial investigations indicate that around 9.33pm, a white Subaru Liberty was travelling west along Pacific Haven Drive when it left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, a 26-year-old River Heads man, was declared deceased at the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision of the vehicle in the area prior to the crash, to contact them.

Investigations are ongoing.
