Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash near Beerwah last night, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information suggests a silver Ford Falcon wagon was travelling west along Peachester Road, when it left the roadway and struck a tree around 12.30am.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 41-year-old Peachester man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
