Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred earlier this morning, Queensland Police say.
At 8.30 this morning, a ute and a sedan collided on the Bruce Highway near Kolonga.
The male driver of the sedan was pronounced deceased at the scene and the male driver of the ute was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injures.
The Bruce Highway was closed most of the day but has since been reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
