The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Wallumbilla North this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
At around 4:20pm emergency services received a report of a car on fire on the side of Mount Everdale Road.
After the fire was extinguished emergency services located two people deceased inside the vehicle.
Preliminary investigations indicate the car left the road and struck a tree before the fire started.
