It has been a very busy start to 2020 for the GRDC's Western RCSN team, with the 'Summer Sesh' Open Forums held at Jurien Bay, Albany and Busselton a huge success.

A total of 128 growers and industry representatives attended the events, providing them with a chance to catch up with GRDC staff, Western Region Panel and RCSN members.

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout for each event, with participants raising a wide variety of issues.

The issues raised at the Summer Sesh events are being discussed and prioritised by RCSN members at a series of meetings during February. These will then be forwarded to GRDC for its consideration as possible research, development or extension investments.

It has been a very dry summer, but hopefully by the time you read this you will have had enough rain to fill dams to help with livestock water and spraying.

I hope you had a break over summer and have come back refreshed and ready to have a terrific 2020. Looking forward to seeing you around the traps soon!
