Small and home-based businesses across the north are invited to sharpen their skills in 2026, with the City of Playford's six-month workshop program at the Stretton Centre kicking off on 24 February.
Designed to support local businesses, startups and entrepreneurs, the program will cover practical topics including marketing and communication, leadership, business planning and grant writing.
The first workshop, How to use social media effectively, will be held on Tuesday, 24 February and will help small businesses take ownership of their digital presence.
This will be followed by Find Your Voice on Wednesday, 25 February, focused on building confidence and self-belief to support business growth.
Delivered by trusted providers and partners, the workshops will provide participants with practical, transferable skills they can apply straight away to help reach their business goals.
City of Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty said the program reflects Council's ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses.
"Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and this program provides practical tools to help them grow with confidence," Mayor Docherty said.
"The Stretton Centre continues to play a vital role in supporting business innovation in Playford. For more than a decade it has provided programs like these workshops to strengthen and build small business capacity."
As Playford experiences rapid growth, it continues to invest in initiatives that connect local businesses with information, services and support, while strengthening the capacity of the local workforce.
