EPA Victoria continues to regulate two sites on Black Gully Rd, Diamond Creek over alleged acceptance of industrial waste without appropriate permissions.
EPA has issued two infringements totalling $20,352 to Diamond Gully Group Pty Ltd for failing to provide information and documentation in relation to the alleged unlawful acceptance of industrial waste at 51-69 Black Gully Road, Diamond Creek and previously told them to clean up the waste.
In addition, another information gathering notice has been issued to Diamond Gully Group and further enforcement action will be undertaken if it isn't complied with.
"EPA will use all of its powers to hold duty holders to account for breaches of the Environment Protection Act 2017", said EPA Northern Metropolitan Regional Manager Chloe Bernett.
"We will continue to work with other authorities involved in the management of this case to monitor the sites of the alleged offences and take further legal action as needed, to keep the community safe."
