The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, NTFire and Rescue Service have declared a 24HOUR FIRE BAN PERIODfor Wednesday 28 August 2019 for thefollowing areas.
DARWIN and ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHERFORECAST AREAS, NORTHERN FIRE PROTECTION ZONE and DALY SOUTH FIRE WEATHERFORECAST AREAS
The Fire Ban is declared for a 24hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Wednesday 28 August 2019.
No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in theportion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
This includes the DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDE RIVERand PINE CREEK EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS and the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIESHIRE
The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
