Fire ban advice 6 September

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Tuesday 7 September 2021 for the following areas.

DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREA and NORTHERN FIRE PROTECTION ZONE.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Tuesday 7 September 2021.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

This includes the DARWIN, ADELAIDE RIVER, BATCHELOR, PINE CREEK and KATHERINE EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
