NT Fire and Emergency Services FIRE BAN ADVICE - Darwin and Adelaide River - Saturday 13 September 2025

The A/Executive Director, Bushfires NT and the Chief Fire Officer, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24-HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Saturday 13 September 2025 for the Darwin and Adelaide River fire weather forecast area including Darwin, Palmerston, Coomalie and Litchfield.
The fire ban is declared for a 24-hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Saturday 13 September 2025
During the fire ban no person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
The fire ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
