Scene of Crime Officers and specialist fire investigators will today examine the scene of a fire which destroyed a wedding venue in Sydney's north-west overnight.
Emergency services were called to the property on Bells Line of Road at Kurrajong Hills about 7pm (Friday 5 September 2025), after a fire was seen in the main reception building.
Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended while Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to extinguish the blaze.
The main building was destroyed with nearby buildings also impacted.
A 40-year-old man was treated for minor burns after attempting to extinguish the fire; he was taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics to hospital for further treatment.
Inquiries are continuing by detectives attached to Hawkesbury PAC, and a report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
