Fire to Flourish

Fire to Flourish and Northern Rivers Community Fund have developed a Bushfire fund for the Tenterfield and Clarence Valley Council areas.

In recognition of the current gaps whilst disaster zones are assessed, the fund will support local community members in the recent burn zones to replace critical infrastructure, damaged equipment, and assets on their properties.

Each property with fire damage may be eligible to receive a grant of $3000 Subject to eligibility guidelines Applications will be a simple process and it is hoped that turn around will be quick, filling the gap of need prior to the availability of other possible disaster responses.

It is hoped that this Bushfire Fund will enable local residents to easily access funds in order to quickly initiate recovery.

Fire to Flourish is a partnership between Monash University's Sustainable Development Institute, the Paul Ramsay Foundation Cornerstone funding is provided by the Paul Ramsay Foundation and Metal Manufactures Pty Ltd, with additional funding from the Lowy Foundation.
