Firearms and drugs located in Hallam warrant

Southern Metro Regional Crime Team have located a number of firearms and drugs during a warrant yesterday.

Detectives executed the warrant on Empire Way about 10.45am following an ongoing investigation.

During the search they located six firearms including a handgun, 3D printed pistol, sawn off shotgun and a longarm rifle.

Detectives also located a trafficable quantity of Methylamphetamines, and a Ford Ranger believed to be stolen from Notting Hill.

A 23-year-old Narre Warren man, who was subject of a Firearms Prohibition Order, was arrested at the property.

He was charged with 23 various weapons, theft, and drug-related charges, and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
