Firearms incident at Campbelltown, South Australia

Eastern District police are seeking information from the public after three gunshots were fired into a house at Campbelltown yesterday afternoon.

Just after 2.30pm on Tuesday 17 December, police patrols were called to a home in Acacia Avenue, following reports of a disturbance and possible gunshots heard.

Two men, one armed with a firearm, had attended at the home and confronted the occupant discharging three shots into the garage wall of the home.

The two men are believed to have left in a grey Volkswagen Golf sedan and a grey Nissan X-Trail SUV.

The occupant was not injured.

Eastern District Detectives are investigating and do not believe the incident is random.

Crime scene examiners attended to assist the investigation.
