Firearms stolen during break-in in Narrabri

An investigation has commenced after two firearms were stolen during a break-in at a home in Narrabri at the weekend, NSW Police say.

Sometime between 8am on Saturday 19 and 7pm on Monday 21 May 2018, a home on Hinds Street was broken into while the occupant was away.

A Sportco Martini rifle and a Gamo Hunter air rifle – both .22 calibre – were stolen from an approved firearm safe located inside the property.

The theft was reported to officers at Oxley Police District and an investigation has commenced.
