Police are appealing for information after a home was broken into and firearms stolen at Lightning Ridge yesterday, NSW Police say.
Between 7.30am and 4.30pm (Thursday 16 November 2017), a property within 3 Mile Opal Field was broken into.
Four firearms were stolen from the location:
- 3 x 12 gauge shotguns; and
- 1 x 410 shotgun
Officers from Castlereagh Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Lightning Ridge Police or Crime Stoppers.
