Firearms stolen near Albury, NSW

Police are appealing for information after 17 firearms were stolen during a break-in of a home in the state’s south, NSW Police say.

Sometime between Saturday morning (30 September 2017) and Monday night yesterday, a home on River Street, Corowa, about 60km west of Albury, was broken into while the occupants were away.

Seventeen firearms, including eight rifles, two shotguns, two revolvers, four pistols, an air rifle, and assorted ammunition were stolen from three secured safes.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.

Police are investigating and are appealing for assistance from any person with information about the break in to contact Crime Stoppers.
