Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding fires at telecommunication sites located in Malaga, Dianella and Morley that occurred between 30 July and 29 October 2016.
All the incidents occurred between midnight and 7am. During these times a man forced entry into the various telecommunication sites before starting a fire inside the communication huts. The fires caused damage to electrical components, WA Police say.
The man is described as being 25 to 35 years of age with an olive complexion, approximately 175 to 185cms tall, with a medium build and a full beard.
He was wearing a black jacket, black jeans, a black beanie and grey coloured shoes. He was carrying a purple backpack.
The man was seen crossing Reid Highway from Camboon Road around 6:15am on Saturday 29 October 2016. Arson Squad detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity near the telecommunication sites.
