Primary Health Care (Primary) is proud to announce the opening of the first ever bulk-billed fertility clinic in Perth. This means West Australian couples will have access to high quality IVF services with almost all costs covered by Medicare, saving patients thousands of dollars compared to other IVF clinics.
The new clinic is located at the Craigie Medical & Dental Centre, Perilya Road, Craigie. As part of the larger medical centre, the new fertility clinic serves as a one-stop solution for couples in WA who are seeking fertility treatment. The centre addresses all fertility needs of prospective couples providing them access to fertility services as well as imaging, pathology and day surgery services. The fertility clinic offers a comprehensive fertility assessment and a range of fertility treatments including, IUI (Intrauterine insemination), In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Frozen Embryo Transfers (FET) and storage of gametes and embryos.
Established in 2014, as one of the first to offer Medicare bulk-billed IVF services in Australia, Primary IVF has redefined the IVF landscape by reducing the major financial barrier for couples considering fertility treatments.
"We take a holistic and individualised approach to fertility that is sensitive to each individual’s needs," said Dr Baruah.
"With one in six Australian couples having difficulty conceiving, we're already experiencing meaningful demand for our services in WA. Our aim is to create a fertility clinic where excellence in care will flourish," added Dr Baruah.
Since opening its first fertility clinic in Sydney in 2014, Primary has helped more than 2000 couples achieve their dream of having a healthy baby, a clear testament to the knowledge and experience of the teams working at these clinics.
