First Nations Voice to Parliament

CPSU

CPSU members have been watching with interest as the government discusses what a referendum on a Voice to Parliament might look like.

Once there is a final proposal, CPSU members who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders will be consulted on what position our union as a whole might take.

It was following similar advice that our union developed a position following the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

You can download and read the CPSU submission to Indigenous Voice including the CPSU's position here
