The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags will now hang beside the Australian and Queensland flags inside the Council Chambers.
Council today rescinded its decision last month in relation to proposed changes to the flags in the Council Chamber and resolved to display flags in the following order: Australian flag, the Queensland flag, the Aboriginal flag and the Torres Strait flag.
Australian national flag protocols have been followed in the proposed changes.
