Five people have been charged following an investigation into alleged drug supply, under Strike Force Harlingen.
Strike Force Harlingen was established in May 2025 by officers attached to Camden Police Area Command to investigate the alleged supply of illicit drugs in Sydney's southwest.
Following extensive inquiries, about 6.45am yesterday (Friday 22 August 2025) strike force detectives – with the assistance of the Tactical Operations Unit, Public Order Riot Squad, South West Metropolitan Operational Support Group, Region Enforcement Squad, Dog Squad and the Australian Federal Police Forensic Search and Imagery section – executed search warrants at homes on Phillips Avenue and Evergreen Drive in Oran Park.
During a search of the Phillips Avenue address, police located and seized 56g of cocaine, $2500 cash, a rifle, a loaded revolver, ammunition and mobile devices, including a DECCD.
Two men, aged 36 and 44, were arrested at the premises.
During a search of the Evergreen Drive address, police located and seized a small quantity of cocaine and a mobile phone. A 41-year-old man was arrested at that location.
At 7am, a 25-year-old man was arrested during a vehicle stop along Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive, Harrington Park, whilst a 28-year-old woman was arrested at a home on Kentwood Place, Narellan Vale.
All five people were taken to Narellan Police Station.
The 36-year-old man was charged with 13 offences:
- Knowingly direct activities of criminal group
- Fire firearm manner likely injure persons/property
- Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity
- Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity
- Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime
- Possess unauthorised prohibited firearm
- Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
- Possess unauthorised pistol
- Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority
- Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance
- Owner/occupier knowingly expose child to drugs etc
- Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction
The 44-year-old man was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The 25-year-old man, 41-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were all charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity.
All five people were refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 23 August 2025).
