Five Councillors Honored for Long Community Service

Five current Hawkesbury City councillors received Local Government NSW Service Awards at Tuesday night's Council Meeting, acknowledging their long service to the Hawkesbury community.

Councillors Sarah McMahon, Jill Reardon, Danielle Wheeler, Amanda Kotlash and Nathan ZamprognoThe recipients were:

Councillor Jill Reardon 25 years

Councillor Sarah McMahon 10 years

Councillor Amanda Kotlash 10 years

Councillor Danielle Wheeler 10 years

Deputy Mayor Nathan Zamprogno 10 years

All five councillors received a certificate, trophy and gift on behalf of Local Government NSW.

In announcing the awards, General Manager Will Barton said: "As you are all aware, Hawkesbury City Council – as a whole – is committed to our community in every way.

"As our elected representatives, you have shown in your daily actions serving on Council, how much this area and its people mean to you.

"And that is an achievement worthy of celebration."
