Five Years Later, Liberals Still Lack Cable Way Plan

Tasmanian Labor

Liberal Senator Jono Duniam has highlighted the state Liberal government's incompetence in senate estimates by pointing out after five years, it still hasn't produced a business case for the Federal Government to consider for a cable way at Cradle Mountain.

The State Government has had five years to get a business case done for this $60 million project yet still hasn't delivered it.

As a result, they have put a $60 million tourism investment for Tasmania at risk.

Yet they managed in no time at all to get one done for a football stadium that Mr Duniam opposes and which is a dud project.

Once again, the Liberals have shown how warped their priorities are and how incompetent they are.

It's time the Premier, Minister for Tourism and Member for Braddon Mr Rockliff took charge of this project and showed some leadership on it.
