Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced that the president has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. Shoshana S. Chatfield for appointment to the grade of vice admiral, and assignment as U.S. military representative to the NATO Military Committee, Brussels, Belgium. Chatfield is currently serving as president, Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island.
