Flags at half-mast for Christchurch shooting victims

The City of Perth sends it sincere condolences to all those affected by yesterday's tragic terrorist attack in New Zealand.

Acting Chair Commissioner Gaye McMath said as a mark of respect to the victims, the City of Perth has lowered its flags to half-mast at the entrance of Council House.

"Our deepest and heartfelt thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims, the Muslim community, the people of Christchurch and New Zealanders, at home and abroad," Acting Chair Commissioner McMath said.

As a tribute to the victims, and the people of New Zealand, the City of Perth will light up Trafalgar Bridge in the national colours of New Zealand on Saturday and Sunday night.
