Police are reminding all drivers not to drive through flood waters with a number of roads closed across the Fraser Coast and North Burnett region.
About 7.15pm police were called to Gooroolba Biggenden Road, Didcot following reports a Mitsubishi Pajero was trapped in flood water.
A 63-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were rescued and transported to Biggenden Hospital with minor injuries.
Gooroolba Biggenden Road at Didcot and the Isis Highway at Degilbo are both closed to all vehicles due to flooding.
About 10.40pm, police and emergency services were called to Booral Road, Bunya Creek following reports a Toyota CHR was caught in floodwaters.
The driver and sole occupants, a 56-year-old woman, was trapped in the vehicle before a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old man entered the water and attempted to rescue her.
The woman was able to be removed from the vehicle however all three became trapped in fast flowing water.
A short time later, all three people were safely rescued.
The two men were assessed at the scene and the woman was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital for observation.
Booral Road is closed in both directions, between Main Street and Woods Road, due to flooding.
Police would like to remind all drivers that driving through floodwater puts not only yourself and your vehicle at risk, but emergency responders.
Motorists should drive to the conditions, slow down, and take extra precautions when travelling in flood impacted areas.
