Flooding of low-lying coast areasAbnormally high tides
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
Elevated sea levels remaining as ex-tropical cyclone Narelle has crossed the eastern Top End coast.
ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES which may lead to sea water flooding of low-lying coastal areas expected within the region from Baniyala and Port Ash Bay. Tides are likely to rise well above the normal high tide mark during today's high tides.
Locations affected: Baniyala, Umbakumba, Milyakburra, Alyangula Numbulwar, Port Roper, Bing Bong Port and King Ash Bay.
