Flood damage to Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club

Following ground subsidence as a result of the flood in March 2021, the Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club in Governor Phillip Park, Windsor has suffered significant structural damage.

Consequently, the building is currently unable to be occupied. Council has undertaken reviews of the structure through specialist engineering consultants and is currently assessing proposals and the viability of repair works with builders.

As the building is currently not able to be used including the public amenities, Council is looking at options to provide a temporary amenities block to service Governor Phillip Park visitors. Council is also looking at how to best support the Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club members including providing other Council facilities for their use in the short term.

Further updates will be provided as more information is available.
