Widespread heavy falls are unlikely, but isolated heavier falls remain possible for the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored and the warning will be updated as required.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End.

Waterhouse River:

Major flooding is likely along the Waterhouse River.

The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 8.64 m and rising, with moderate flooding. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is likely to exceed the major flood level (8.70 m) Tuesday morning. The river will remain around the major flood level (8.70 m) during Wednesday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

Roper River below Elsey Creek:

River levels are elevated throughout the Roper River catchment.
