ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
RIVER LEVEL AT BESWICK BRIDGE ARE LIKELY TO REMAIN NEAR MAJOR FLOOD LEVEL DURING TUESDAY
Heavy rainfall since Monday afternoon has caused river level rises along the Waterhouse River. Moderate flooding is occurring at Beswick Bridge and river level is likely to remain near major flood level during Tuesday.
Widespread heavy falls are unlikely, but isolated heavier falls remain possible for the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored and the warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End.

Major flooding is likely along the Waterhouse River.
